Boufarrah was inspired by the simple comfort and joy founder
Soumia Boufarrah found in the bottle of pure Argan oil, brought back from
every trip to visit family in Morocco.
For two years Soumia began a quest to source the most refined Argan oil
in Morocco. Her search led to genuine partnerships with the people who
are closest to the roots of the Argan tree, indigenous to Morocco.
Boufarrah pronounced Boe-faar-rah is an Arabic word that translates
to with joy.
Soumia’s mission remains to bring joy, through the essence of
simple pleasure in self-care to the world.

Inclusive
Our multipurpose oil is made for all ages, genders, skin types and hair types. Argan oil is also safe to use on baby’s and soon to be mothers.
Ethical
Boufarrah strives to deliver Argan oil that is environmentally sustainable.
We are proud to have partnered up with a co-operative that replants endangered Argan tree forests on protected land. We also pay a fair wage to local women in Morocco who hand harvest the Argan fruits and use a traditional method to extract the oil.
